while a fan of Vallas, the claims this article makes are largely unsubstantiated. The results of the mayoral takeover of the chicago public school system are largely unstudied; clear evidence of the effect on students' tests scores is disputed (to the best of my knowledge), and Vallas himself is a highly controversial figure. The claims this article makes need to be (1) CITED, and (2) written from a more neutral standpoint. --Katwmn6 05:28, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
