[edit] Gender

Following a recent edit to the infobox, what should the {{{gender}}} field for Millander be? The editor in question changed it from transmale to male, but Paul (a.k.a Pauline) was genetically female. Do we approach this kind of issue from a genetic, surgical or psychological point of view? Editus Reloaded 09:06, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

What people condisder transgendered is actually a person of one sex trapped in the body of the other sex. Paul may have been born a female, but inside, he was really a male, even before the sex-change. Therefore, his gender as a male should stay the same. That's my two cents.
