[edit] Tidying

Following the retention of this article I've attempted to tidy it. It seems to me that it has had an amount of POV editing, so I've tried to make it more neutral. I've removed elements that I could not verify and also removed a few of the links that I think were only placed there for campaigning purposes. I'd welcome any comments/criticism of what I've done.
