[edit] Prospects in Mets trade
- I removed the names of the two minor leaguers Lo Duca was traded to the Mets for and someone put them back in. Personally, I think the names of two single-A level minor leaguers is more detail than most will want. I follow the Mets to a limited degree and I've never even heard of these two. I vote we wait to see if they even make it to the majors. wknight94 14:18, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
- I dissagree I think that if you know who was traded for him it is easy to go to their pages and find updates on the players or if the trade was good. Almost every other page that has a trade tells who was traded for whom so I don't think that this article should be different than the others. Metsman 15:06, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, you're responding to a post I added almost a year ago! Luckily I'm still here and watching to re-respond. :) The problem with your argument is that, at least at the time, those two A-level players didn't have pages to go to and find updates. We don't generally include A-level baseball player bios on Wikipedia. Of course, if they had pages, there would be no reason not to include them. —Wknight94 (talk) 15:21, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
