[edit] I Love This Guy

Being a latecomer to the psychodelic san francisco music scene, I did not get to see Paul Kantner play until the Jefferson Airplane reunion hit Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia MD in 1989. His playing and interactions with the band were great......I had the feeling he was the catalyst in getting the band back together and it showed. What really impressed me was that after the show, he was the only musician that came out and sat on the side of the stage and talked to us for awhile.

Since that time, I have seen Paul play in his Wooden Ships and Jefferson Starship TNG anytime hes on the east coast.

There are not many of the original psychedelic music architects still practicing the trade. This is not a greatest hits oldies classic rock act..........Paul is still writing new music as well as exploring the intricacies of the classic works. Check him out when the Jefferson Starship lands in your town.--michael schuncke annapolis md 02:18, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
