Here's something I got from a bulletin no Emily Haine's Myspace.

Hey! So, we're doing a show on July 25th at The Harbourfront Centre. This is a beautiful outdoor theatre in downtown Toronto. Patrick Watson and his band will be playing before us, they're from Montreal and totally amazing - check them out here. This show is a part of a series called "Generations". The premise of this series is how art is passed down through--generations--which is a perfect opportunity for the release of Emily's fathers' book "Secret Carnival Workers: The Paul Haines Reader". Compiled over the last three years by Emily and her family, it's a meticulous collection of Paul's poems, short fiction and music journalism from 1955-2002. The title is taken from his poem, "The Prince". This compendium, alternately humourous, sly, cryptic, outrageous and playful, influenced by jazz, travel, dada and the surreal… perhaps the poems themselves are the secret carnival workers. The Paul Haines Reader was edited by Stuart Broomer, former editor of the Canadian jazz music magazine, Coda. We hope to see as many of you there as possible! Tickets can be purchased at: The York Quay Centre Box Office - 235 Queens Quay West Or By Phone - 416-973-4000 $25 ticket gross ($1.50 facility and $1.54 tax) Box Office hours are: Tuesday to Saturday - 1pm - 6pm | 1pm - 8pm if there is an evening performance On the day of the performance, the outside box office (in the blue kiosk just North of the Concert Stage) will open from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm for walk-up sales.
