[edit] Speedy tag?
I'm pretty sure that speedy recreated content doesn't apply here. The article was nominated for deletion, socks overran the discussion, the article was restored at DRV, the article was relisted at AFD with no consensus. So even assuming that there was a CSD criteria that applied (nn-bio doesn't, as the article clearly states a reason why the person is notable), it needs to go back to afd if you want it deleted.
However, since the person who placed the speedy tag is a longtime contributor I wanted another admin to see if they agree with me instead of just me removing the speedy tag. Syrthiss 23:01, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
- Can we please send this to AFD again and do something to insure that there is none of the crap that happened with the past AFDs which were filled with possible sockpuppets. My vote would be to merge the article into the WTVT news team article, but this article is symptomatic of a larger problem no established policy on local TV personalties and if they meet the notablity guidelines. - Hi ... I'm the tagger. I was completely unaware of the DRV; I just saw a recreated article and slapped the speedy tag on it. Everything is obviously in order, so I'm going to withdraw the request. My apologies for stirring up more trouble for all of you, and for being unacceptably sloppy in my quick review of the deletion history in the first place. --Aaron 23:34, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
