Talk:Paul Cérésole
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[1] suggests that he was called "Paul Ceresole" while the List of members of the Swiss Federal Council writes Paul Cérésole. Doing a quick research, I have only found it with this way on [2]. So what is correct?

- Please excuse this, but I renamed him, before I saw that you had brought this up for discussion.
- Actually, I spent some time checking the spelling of names on List of members of the Swiss Federal Council, keeping in mind Wikipedia conventions (e.g. generally not to include middle names). As for Ceresole, libraries in the canton of Vaud, where he came from, spell "Paul Cérésole": [3]. Possibly, it's the French spelling of an Italian name [4].
