Talk:Paul Boissier

[edit] Candidate for speedy deletion
Having added to the list of Headmasters of Harrow School on that page, I decided to write a few lines on Arthur Boissier because I felt he was of greater importance than just a headmaster - for example, as a cricketer and as Director of Public Relations at the wartime Ministry of Fuel and Power, not to mention his daughter. Also, as Harrow is one of Britain's oldest and most important schools, it is worth having a few lines about one of its Headmasters (there are entries for other Headmasters). Therefore, please don't speedily delete this article. Thanks, Jcspurrell 22:04, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Please see WP:BIO for guidelines on notability of biographies ... "there are entries for other Headmasters" is not a valid argument for inclusion, and neither is a "famous relative". —141.156.240.102 (talk|contribs) 02:04, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

- Have added extra info, plus a academic bio stub. Hope that helps. Jcspurrell 19:13, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
