Talk:Paul Boakye
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Have added some more third-party sources about the subject, particularly in the Biography and Reference sections.
Not sure what the |Category section is supposed to indicate but I think I may have accidentally deleted something placed there.
I have now edited this article to provide published verification for previously “unreferenced” information written here about the writer Paul Boakye.
I have improved the layout, relevancy of internal and external links, and have added citations to reliable sources for each piece of information provided.
Paragraphs 1 and 2 are as you left them.
Paragraph 3 provides information that may be verified from The Routledge Companion to Contemporary Black British Culture edited by Alison Donnell (2002), pp 52, 63, and 332.
Paragraph 4 is a direct quote from Yvonne Brewster's Introduction to her selection of plays in Black Plays: Three published by Methuen Drama (1995).
Paragraph 5 is a block of text referenced and quoted from The Routledge Companion to Contemporary Black British Culture edited by Alison Donnell (2002), pp 52, 63, and 332.
The Selected bibliography and Further reading sections are provided from a range of sources including Darker than Blue, in K. Knauer and S. Murray (eds) Britishness and Cultural Studies: Continuity and Change in Narrating the Nation, Katowice, Poland: Slask, pp. 212, In the Family 1 and In the Family 2 (listed), and The Routledge Companion to Contemporary Black British Culture edited by Alison Donnell (2002), pp 52.
I trust that this will therefore make the article acceptable.
I'm not sure if I've fully followed your instructions for revising my article on Paul Boakye because I'm new to this and only decided to add the article because I'm familiar with the writer's work. Anyway, I've rewritten the piece paying particular attention to the guidelines in order to fit the criteria for an encyclopedia article on Wikipedia. LET ME KNOW IF THIS FITS THE BILL.
