Pauline was born 14 September 1944. Her parents are people who believe in God, and Pauline wanted to escape from that life. She married to George Mole and from her parents' farm moved to Ashby-de-la-Zouch. When she was 22, she gave a birth to Adrian Albert Mole, who is her and George's first child. When she gave a birth to Rosie, she wanted to give her the name 'Cristabell'. But, she decided on 'Rosie Germaine' - Rosie because it's pretty and modern, and Germaine because of Germaine Greer.
