Paul Winters

Paul Winters (born April 20, 1954 in Pennsylvania) is an American filmmaker, writer, and actor. He played Colonel Ben Loftin in the film Nate and the Colonel (which also starred Ricco Ross as Nate).

During the 1990s he co-produced Gahan Wilson's Diner (an animated 35mm feature short by cartoonist Gahan Wilson) for 20th Century Fox. Winters was a co-producer on the CBS pilot "It's True" (starring Mark Hamill and Dean Stockwell). In 2001, Winter co-executive produced (for Showtime) the pilot "The Kid" (starring Ed Asner, Lolita Davidovich, Eugene Levy, William Shatner, and Jennifer Tilly). Winters wrote and directed Red Blood (starring David Midthunder), and Nate and the Colonel.
