Paul Wanless

Paul Wanless (born 14 December 1973 in Banbury) is an English professional footballer who plays in midfield. In May 2007 he was appointed player-coach for Llanelli
[edit] Playing Career
Wanless joined Forest Green in the summer of 2005 from Football League side Oxford United. He was in his second spell with Oxford, having played for Cambridge United, Lincoln City and Woking in between times.

Wanless was the caretaker boss of Forest Green after the club terminated the contract of Gary Owers in August 2006. With the club having lost all four opening games, Wanless led them for two games, both draws, before the appointment of Jimmy Harvey. He was released in May 2007 and joined Llanelli as player-coach.
