Paul Salata (born October 17, 1926 in Los Angeles, California) is a former professional American football player who played wide receiver for one season for the Baltimore Colts and San Francisco 49ers. In later years, Salata became famous for creating the Mr. Irrelevant Award in the NFL Draft.
