Paul Robinson (AFL player)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Paul Robinson was an American college and professional football player. He played for the American Football League's Cincinnati Bengals and was The Sporting News' choice as AFL Rookie of the Year in 1967. He was drafted in the 3rd round of the AFL Draft by the Bengals in 1968 out of the University of Arizona. Rushing for 1,023 yards in 1968, he became (and still is) the only running back in any professional football league (AFL or NFL) to gain more than 1,000 yards rushing for a first-year expansion team.
