Paul Richards is a British Labour Party politician and author.

Richards was educated at Dr Challoner's Grammar School and University of Salford.

• Paul Richards was the Labour Party candidate for Billericay in the 1997 General Election
• Paul Richards was the Labour Party candidate for Lewes in the 2001 General Election
• He was formerly on the executive of the Labour Coordinating Committee
• He is a former Chair of the Fabian Society and General Secretary of Labour Students
• He is currently Special Adviser to Labour Party Chair Hazel Blears MP
