Paul R. Nelson

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Paul Raymond Nelson (born March 9, 1966 in St. Paul, MN) is a resident of Woodville, Wisconsin, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, real estate agent, and was the Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Wisconsin's 3rd congressional district challenging incumbent Democrat Ron Kind in the 2006 mid-term election.

His negative campaign commercials against Ron Kind and his nasal voice made him a celebrity of sorts on the Opie and Anthony Show. He even called in on November 3, 2006 and was interviewed and challenged Ron Kind to have a debate on the show on Monday, November 6th - one day before the election. This was not possible, however, as Opie and Anthony were on vacation.
