Paul Paton (born in Paisley, Scotland on the 18th of April 1987) is a professional footballer currently playing for Partick Thistle.
The 21 year old right back, despite attracting interest from higher level clubs decided to stay at Hampden with Queen's Park during the season 2007-08. His displays at the back were key in Queen's winning promotion to Division Two and he scored the goal which gave Queen's the lead in the Second Leg of the Playoff Final at New Bayview, the goal which effectively ended the Fifers' hopes of promotion.
Paton signed for Partick Thistle in May 2008 on a three year contract.
