Paul Ogden (born Leek, Staffordshire, 18 December 1946) is an English former football (soccer) player and manager. He had a brief professional playing career with Port Vale, making two Football League appearances in 1964–65,[1] and later went on to have six separate spells managing Leek Town, spanning nearly forty years. He first took over at the club in 1969, and his final spell seemingly came to an end when he was forced to retire due to ill health six games into the 2007–08 season,[2] however just one month later he returned to take charge for one last game prior to a permanent successor being announced.[3] He returned to the club yet again in January 2008, to assist new player-manager Wayne Johnson.[4] He also managed Northwich Victoria and Kidsgrove Athletic.[2]
