Paul Newe

Paul Newe(born 30 January 1961 in Dublin) is a former Irish footballer.

During his career in the League of Ireland, Newe had two spells in the 1980s and 1990s with Shelbourne scoring 38 league goals in 116 league appearances. He made his League of Ireland debut for Shels on the 3rd of October 1982.

Also had spells at Cobh Ramblers, St. Patrick's Athletic and Monaghan United.

He began his career at Shamrock Rovers but failed to make a first team appearance.
