Paul Mullen, born in Houghton-le-Spring (September 6, 1982-), is the backing vocalist and rhythm guitarist currently for Cardiff based act The Automatic[1][2], he is also the lead vocalist for Washington, Tyne and Wear based yourcodenameis:milo whom are currently on hiatus.
It was announced that he is not the direct replacement for Pennie, in fact Paul will be acting as the bands rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist. The band also are reported to have 20 songs demoed and ready to record, half of which were written with Alex Pennie, and the other half have been written with Paul Mullen.
