[edit] Career
Having been developed as a player through Dundee United's youth scheme, he turned professional with the club in 1998 but left within months, joining Forfar Athletic in December of that year. McIlravey played nearly thirty league matches in his eighteen months at Station Park before joining Montrose in the summer of 2000. McIlravey's single season at Links Park brought fifteen matches and he was released at the end of the season. It is unknown where McIlravey played immediately after his release, although he was playing for Invergowrie as recently as March 2007.[1]
