Paul Mather

Paul Mather is a Canadian comedy writer. Along with Donovan Workun, he is a founding member of the Edmonton improv troupe Atomic Improv. While living in Edmonton, he also worked with Rapid Fire Theatre and Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. He has won four Canadian Comedy Awards for his work on This Hour Has 22 Minutes (2001-2003) and Corner Gas (2004). As of 2004, he is the head writer for The Rick Mercer Report (aka The Monday Report) and as of 2007, the co-executive producer for Little Mosque on the Prairie. Paul has also worked in the video game genre, supplying his voice to the game MDK2. Paul had cameo appearances in three episodes of Corner Gas as background characters; 'Pilates Twist', 'Air Show', and 'Physical Credit' billed as Customer, Inspector, and Frank respectively.
