Paul Mahon is the gutiarist of rock band The Answer.
[edit] Early life
Mahon went to Down High Grammar School, Downpatrick. Whilst playing rugby, he broke his leg in two places, causing him to stay at home for 8 months. It was then he taught himself how to play the guitar. Upon leaving Down High, he studied music at Queens University Belfast, where he met Cormac Neeson, Mickey Waters and James Heatley. They would then go on to form The Answer in 2001. Previously, Mahon and Waters had formed a band called Red House.
