Paul Joseph Otto Johansson (born January 26, 1964) is an American actor, best known for playing Dan Scott in The WB's/The CW's television series, One Tree Hill, and for his role as Nick Wolfe in the short lived TV series Highlander: The Raven.
Johansson was born in Spokane, Washington but was raised in Vancouver, Canada, the son of hockey player Ivan Wilfred Johnson.[1] He was an athlete like his father. Johansson landed his first role on the popular soap opera, Santa Barbara. Soon, Johansson made appearances in other television shows such as Parker Lewis Can't Lose, Beverly Hills 90210, Lonesome Dove and more. He also appeared alongside in the 1991 film Soapdish as Sally Fields' soap opera husband, Bolt. He also had a small role in the movie John Q, with Denzel Washington, playing an in your face news reporter. He also had a very small role in The Notebook, he was the boyfriend that Allie's Mother ran off with as a teenager.
