Paul Higgins

Paul Higgins (Born - January 13, 1962 in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey right winger who played 2 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Higgins was drafted in the 10th Round, 200th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Higgins appeared in 25 regular season games from 1981–82 to 1982–83. His only appearance in the post season was a single game in 1982–83 against the Minnesota North Stars in Game 4 of the Norris Division Semi-Finals at Maple Leaf Gardens. Higgins dressed in favour of the injured Jim Korn. Higgins' primary role in hockey was as a fighter. In the 25 NHL regular season games that Higgins played, he was assessed 152 minutes in penalties.
