From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Paul Foot (born December 24, 1973) is a British comedian. He went to school at Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe before reading Mathematics at the University of Oxford, with the intention of becoming an accountant. Since leaving university, he has pursued a career as a stand-up comedian, with numerous television and radio appearances and several awards to his credit.
Paul's more recent TV appearances include Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive, the Channel 4 2005 comedy discussion show FAQ U, Edinburgh and Beyond shows on the Paramount Comedy TV Channel 2005, and Unanimous - The Fallout on E4.
Paul regularly performs live in venues across London. In September 2006 he started Paul Foot's Comedy for Connoisseurs, a regular solo variety show in London which has featured guest spots by fellow comedians such as Stewart Lee.
Paul has a rapidly growing following of those who have taken to his unique style of performance who gather in a fan club-esque secret society he calls The Guild Of Paul Foot Connoisseurs.
Paul claims to have superpowers which he tries to keep hidden from the public. These powers include (but are not limited to) x-ray vision, invisibility, and the ability to tell someone's waist size just by looking at them.
