Paul Diwakar

Sri N.Paul Diwakar is a Rights Activist. At present, he is the Convenor of National Campaign for Dalit Human Rights (NCDHR) based in New Delhi. He was formerly the General Secretary of the Dalit Bahujan Shramik Union, a Dalit-Bahujan rights organisation in Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Paul was brought up in Church tradition. His father was Rt.Rev.N.D.Ananda Rao Samuel whose name is known in theological and priestly circles across India. His mother's name was Smt.Florence belonging to Guntur. Machilipatnam was the ancestral town of Mr.Paul.

The Rt.Rev. N.D. Ananda Rao Samuel was a Pastor, a Theological Teacher, a Bishop and a Moderator of the Church of South India. He was also a member of the Board of Governors of Andhra Christian Theological College, Hyderabad.

Mr.Paul is presently married to Ms.Annie Namala and has two sons.
