Paul D. Froehlich is a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives elected as a Republican to represent the 56th district, where he has served since 2003. Froehlich also served as Schaumburg Township Republican Committeeman from 1998 through 2007. On June 26, 2007, Froehlich announced his switch from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party.[1]
Froehlich was previously elected to the District 54 Board of Education in 1989, Schaumburg Township School Trustee in 1997, and Township Assessor 2001. Froehlich was appointed to the Illinois House in 2003 and was elected in 2004, and 2006.
A Schaumburg resident, Froehlich is married and has three children.
