Paul Curran (born 15 January 1961)[1] was a racing cyclist until he broke his back in a serious accident whilst competing in the Tour of the Pennines in 1996.[2] He was born in Thornaby, Cleveland.[1]
Curran won several Commonwealth Games medals and also competed in the 1986 Olympic Games and the 1988 Olympic Games[3].
