Paul Collister

Paul Collister (born 18 September 1958 in Wallasey, Merseyside) is an English musician. He was known during the late 70s and early 80s for his work with Liverpool bands such as Dalek I Love You and OMD.

Collister was a manager and recording engineer/producer. He was the manager of OMD and also recorded and co-produced their first single Electricity in his garage using his 4 track tape recorder, Winston, which later went on tour with the band. [1] He also co-produced their first self-titled album under the pseudonym of Chester Valentino.

After running the engineering department for a telecommunications company for 10 years Collister retired at 45. He is currently living on Merseyside with his partner and his two children.
