Paul Bunyan Broadcasting

Paul Bunyan Broadcasting is a radio broadcasting company based in Bemidji, Minnesota. Their hometown stations include KBUN 1450 (Sports), KBHP-FM 101.1 (Country), KLLZ-FM 99.1 (Classic Rock), WQXJ-FM 104.5 (Oldies) and KKZY 95.5 (Adult Contemporary). The company is owned by Lou Buron and Mary Campbell, who formed it in 1988 and relocated up to Bemidji from the Twin Cities. It owns and operates sixteen stations in northern Minnesota. In October 2007, Mr. Buron was inducted into the Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame in Golden Valley, MN. [1]
Paul Bunyan Broadcasting also owns KVBR 1340 (Business News/Talk), KLIZ 1380 (Sports), KBLB 93.3 (Country), KUAL 103.5 (Oldies), WJJY 106.7 (Adult Contemporary), and KLIZ-FM 107.5 (Classic Rock), in Baxter; KWAD 920 (Classic Country), KNSP 1430 (Classic Country) & KKWS-FM 105.9 (Country) in Wadena; and KULO 94.3 (Oldies) and KIKV 100.7 (Country) in Alexandria.
