Paul Alfred Kleinert

Paul Alfred Kleinert, German writer, editor and translator, was born 1960 in Leipzig, son of parents with roots in Silesia and Danzig, studied theology and celtic studies in Berlin/East und West, Edinburgh and Dublin, since 1994 editor, edition of “Zeitzeichen”-seria (http://www.lyrikwelt.de/sonderseite-zeitzeichen.htm) since 1999, from 2003 to 2005 “Die Nessing’schen Hefte” (http://www.lyrikwelt.de/sonderseite-nessingsche.htm) and from 2007 onwards “Nordische Reihe” in “pernobilis-edition” Leipzig. 2006 edition of the first volume of Faroese/German (translation by A.Nielsen) poetry by G.Helmsdal "Stjørnuakrar /Sternenfelder" and “A végesség kesernyés v... /Endlichkeit mit bittrem Trost” by Sándor Tatár (Hungarian/ German, adaptions by various poets), 2007 was edited by him the anthology “From Djurhuus to Poulsen – Faroese Poetry during 100 Years” (http://www.lyrikwelt.de/sonderseite-nordischereihe.htm).

Lives and works in Berlin-Kreuzberg since 1986.
