Founder of "Komitas" choir and director was born in 1893 at Tabriz, Iran. After graduationg his school in 1913, he was invited to teach at Ghazvin Armenian school.
During the first world war (1914-1918) he dedicated himself to help the people and after the war the moved to Salmas and Oroomieh to help survivors of Armenian Genocide. In 1923 he and a group of young armenains were invited to Prague's National University were he becomes interested in Rimsky Korsakov school and continued his education. After six months he moves to Paris where since 1924 till 1927 he learned under Venesandi in Scola Cantorum School. He also attend Sorbonne university where he graduates child development and physiology.
He moved to Rasht in 1927 and teached in Armenian school. Then he moved to Tehran and continued his dedication to school and people. He was one of the founders of Alik daily newspaprer in Tehran which continues it's daily publications till today.
