[edit] User talk
Post your Comments about my conversations with you or others here
[edit] ahem
That was not the way to approach me with your concern. I know a great deal about categorization; I was made an admin almost solely because I've been one of the leaders on both Wikipedia:Categories for discussion and Wikipedia:User categories for discussion. I don't think I've encountered you in either of those places. Here's a much better approach: If you think I've made an error, tell me what the error is. Then I can know what effect it might have. But here's what I do know: All the "User ASL" categories were requested for deletion after being redirected to "User ase" categories. The categories were empty except for a few templates pointing pages to the old scheme, so no one's user page suffered. If the Language User Templates category suffered, tell me how and I can help fix the problem. But start with common courtesy, please.--Mike Selinker 01:24, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- I now see the problem. You've conflated my edits with those of User:Taric25, who added all those "Language user templates" to the template the day before I deleted the categories. I removed some of them, but I didn't add any. You may need to go to Taric23 and figure out what he was doing.--Mike Selinker 03:11, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] JungleCat's Question
This is somewhat different, being how your talk page is set up, so I will post here:
Hey there – I appreciate your help here, but I am curious, what is WP:StS? It does not exist as per the time of my post here. Just curious… JungleCat Shiny!/Oohhh! 00:04, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Category:User templates (on my user talk)
Per User talk:CortalYX talking about User:CortalYX, "Your userpage is miscategorized. please take it out of this category," - please note I did not place my userpage within that category, I just filled up my userpage with userboxes... userbox whore that I am... I don't know which userbox template has incorrect syntax, but I don't have enough time to check through at the moment. I have looked through and checked to make sure I was correct before I submitted this, please do the same.~CortalYX 00:34, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Heh I don't know if I glean a small amount of sarcasm from that, but being the internet, and with some form of be nice policy I vaguely remember, I thank you for my barnstar, and if I get a chance I will be sure to check through my musician fan user templates to see which one has invalid code =/ yeah and thanks for the heads about the werdnabot, I'm hoping it starts working again soon, I think its something to do with the bot itself.~CortalYX 13:26, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you (sarcasm)
While you helped to wikify my profile page, (I had temporarily lost internet so I couldn't do any heavy editing), you had turned my loosely ordered page into sheer chaos, the wrong userboxes are strewn across, and several columns even overlap, these several mistakes will take a lot of work to fix, and insulting me on my talk page!? How audacious. Thanks, I guess. Michael Cook 01:49, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Reply to Your Userpage
All right, let's pretend that I have no clue what you're talking about in regards to categories and templates. I checked for my user name on the template page and it was not there. I'm not going to go through all the user boxes to try and find the category, primarily because I'm not sure what I'm looking for. If you want to change it then have at it. --Cyrus Andiron t/c 18:28, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Excellent work! No wonder I wasn't able to find it. I suppose my reply was a bit dated as I was on vacation for a week. Thanks for the cleanup, much appreciated. --Cyrus Andiron t/c 14:26, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] User:Blast san/userboxes/User sci-fi
In reply to your request on my userpage, I would like to remind you to take a look at WP:CIVIL, which you are near to breaking (and seem to have a record of). In addition, I would like to direct you to WP:AGF.
Further, would you care to explain why my (and others') userboxes are so categorised, that I may avoid future miscats?
On a final note, has Category:Political user templates simply evaded standardisation, or are the new 'rules' an unofficial thing? Please reply swiftly. Blast 04.04.07 2341 (UTC)
- Simply looking at your talk page and comments on other users' talk pages, it appears that you have a bit of a history of coarseness, hence the reference to WP:CIVIL, as well as a reminder to assume good faith.
- Regardless, I would still like an explanation (or a link to one) on when the rules for CG:UT et all changed. As far as I can tell, it's only been you changing things about.
- On a final note, I, as with Alison, have not accused you of harming Wikipedia. Blast 05.04.07 0359 (UTC)
[edit] Where Poorleno talks.
Since there is no section for random posts, I put this here. It turns out somebody had a legitimate reason for KO-ing my tricks. Some don't mimic the system policy, i don't know. Check my talk and regular histories to see exactly what. Kind of crazy. Oh well, → p00rleno (lvl 85) ←ROCKSCRS 02:10, 5 April 2007 (UTC) <{in love with runescape}>
[edit] Your recent actions have many concerned for your well being
You have left some comments on your userpages that have many editors concerned for your health and well being. Several relevent discussions have been started at WP:ANI and we are all concerned for you. Please do not do anything rash, and know that people are concerned and praying for you. --Jayron32|talk|contribs 05:34, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Please stop with the suicide talk. This is clearly attention-seeking behaviour. After all, if you really were serious, you would've done it already after having clicked "Save Page". Please seek professional help, therapy, counselling, etc. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not some emo myspace/bulletin board/forum/etc. At the risk of offending, this isn't the place for attention-seeking displays such as this. Skult of Caro (talk) 19:04, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
- Well I can see you were not serious. And I can see that despite the fact that people tried to help you, you just attacked them. I am disappointed that people would use Wikipedia for their own personal publicity stunt. Sad. DragonFire1024 20:30, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
I'm just glad to hear that you're all right - that's the most important thing. I've been depressed and suicidal myself and know what it feels like. Right now, drugs and therapy help keep me stable. I know from your userboxes that you're set against these things, but as someone who's been there I ask you to maybe think about asking someone for help, even if it's just a counsellor at your school or a good friend. Be well & best wishes - Alison☺ 00:06, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deleted redirect
The redirect you created for the IP you edited under has been deleted. It's not appropriate (even during your attention getting stunt) because there's no guarantee that you're the only person who will ever edit under that IP. - CHAIRBOY (☎) 05:37, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Are you okay?
Hello. I am just wondering, is everything going okay for you? — Armed Blowfish (mail) 06:25, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
I have blocked you for 48 hours for personal attacks against Skult of Caro, weird attention-seeking revolving around suicide threats, and the utterly bigoted anti-gay userbox you tried to make that has absolutely no place in a community like Wikipedia. You really need to take these 48 hours and cool down, stop attacking others, and remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and that you should be helping to write that encyclopedia and not getting involved in all of these other unrelated activities. --Cyde Weys 18:48, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Block extended to 1 year
For multiple violations of WP:NPA after a hoax suicide note that caused an actual police report. DurovaCharge! 06:06, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unblock
I have unblocked this account on good faith per pledges received via e-mail. Best wishes with mentorship and editing and please stay safe. Warmly, DurovaCharge! 22:46, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
