[edit] Clean up

The article needs to be cleaned up and the appropriate tag has been removed 4 times now. I can't imagine why, considering that it's only helpful to have it on the article, especially when no cleaning has been done. I'll wait a while and put it back later. Leebo86 03:00, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

I've proposed it for deletion. If you think it's useful to keep, please say so and I'll withdraw the proposal. Barnabypage 01:32, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion

On the two occasions I've proposed this page for deletion, the proposal has been removed by users whose only contributions appear to be on Patrick Trollope-related matters - so rather than enter into another pointless round of proposal-and-removal, maybe we should discuss it here.

I believe the subject is non-notable, in that launching a local news Website, having a number of exhibitions in minor galleries, etc. are not in themselves notable activities. While the article appears well-referenced, I also suggest that the nature of the references backs this up: if the subject were truly notable in the fields of journalism and online publishing there should be references to support this from the notable publications in those fields.

(I just checked and there is nothing on pressgazette.co.uk; one reference on nma.co.uk, which may or may not be to the same Patrick Trollope - I've forgotten my password!)

For the record, since anyone doing some idle Googling will quite quickly establish that I have for many years worked in similar fields to Patrick Trollope, I haven't to my knowledge ever met him or communicated with him and am not a professional or personal rival. Barnabypage 20:26, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
