Talk:Patricia Seybold

Yes, your new version is satisfactory. And you're right- I haven't read her books. Normally, I never would have gotten involved with editing this article. I only came to this article while watching articles proposed for deletion, when I decided to save it- though I was beginning to regret that decision. I remembered seeing one of her books displayed in the bookstore, which to me was a sign that she likely met the notability threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia.
There are still a couple of style quibbles. Bolding as well as italicizing book titles goes against style guidelines, and the commas should go outside the single quotes. That's because the quotes represent wiki markup rather than punctuation, and placing the commas inside means that they will be bolded/italicized as well. Also, many author entries have a section for a list of books, which would also give you an opportunity to link to the ISBN search pages. I'll do one as an example, but let you do the rest since you are much more motivated.
We had butted heads often enough on this edit that I was about to comment on this talk page, suggesting that I might be willing to accept the last sentence, for instance, if you changed "She is the world's leading advocate" to "she advocates." Good to see you've adapted on your own. --Groggy Dice T | C 03:37, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
