Talk:Patriarch Evtimiy of Bulgaria
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A story I have heard about Patriarch Evtimii says, that he was sentenced to death by the Ottoman invaders. But when the henchman lifted the ax to cut the head of Patriarch Evtimii, his hands stoned. The death penalty was transfered into exile. Does anyone know, if this is true, and what source the information comes from.
Thanks, Nick
- I think that comes from a work of Gregory Tsamblak and, of course, cannot be true : ) --Gligan (talk) 08:52, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
