Patricia Erin Souza Also known as Patty Souza is the weeknight Chief Meteorologist of KXTV News10 in Sacramento, California. You can catch her Mon-Fri at the 5, 6, and 11p.m Newscast.
Patty was born in California on August 6, 1971 (Age 36). She joined News10 after former Chief Meteorologist Elissa Lynn left in Spring 2006 who decided to take another meteorology career. Prior to joining News10 in April '06, Patty worked as the morning/ afternoon Meteorologist at KCRA 3 Reports a Sacramento NBC affiliate from February 2002-early April 2006. Before coming to Northern California Patty worked at KULR-TV in Montana from 1993-1995, then at WHBQ-TV in Tennessee from 1995-1999, and at WFTV in Orlando, Florida from 1999-2002.
Patty attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where she studied Broadcasting, then later attended Mississpi and Portland State where she got her seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.
Patty currently resides in Roseville, California with her dog pet. And coincidentally has a sister who is a Meteorologist Tammie Souza at WFLD-TV FOX TV.
