Patty is a controversial, low-budget 1976 film directed by Robert L. Roberts and loosely based on the experiences of Patricia Hearst. It begins with her being abducted by the Symbionese Liberation Army and culminates with her joining the organization in some of its most highly-publicized crimes (including bank robberies). The film received an X rating from the Motion Picture Association of America and garnered almost universally negative reviews.
