Patti Hansen

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Patti Hansen (born 1956) was a major model in the 1970s and early 1980s - appearing regularly on the covers and in the pages of American Vogue, Glamour, and Harper's Bazaar. She was born and raised in the Tottenville section of Staten Island, New York. The late fashion photographer Peter Gert met her at the home of Paul Fenton Sr. (a neighbor) and invited her to a party held by Wilhelmina modeling agency when she was only a teenager. She went to the party with Peter Gert in a dress borrowed from her neighbor's daughter and was the hit of the night. She was signed immediately by Wilhelmina. In a classic "right place - right time" story, her natural beauty and her winning personality made her an "overnight success" in the modeling world.

Patti married Keith Richards, guitarist of The Rolling Stones on December 18, 1983 at the Finisterra Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She is of Norwegian ancestry and has two daughters with Richards, Alexandra and Theodora.
