Pattabhi Rama Reddy Tikkavarapu, (b. February 19, 1919 - d. May 6, 2006) was a famous Indian writer, film producer and director.

He was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. He studied at Shantiniketan, Calcutta University and Columbia University.

He actively participated in the Emergency opposition movement, human rights movement, and child labour movements as founder member of Peoples Union for Civil Liberties. He also founded the organisation Concerned for Working Children (CWC). Pattabhi Rama Reddy died on 06 May 2006.
