The Patrick and Margaret DeNaples Center is The University of Scranton's new campus center.[1] This 118,000-square-foot center, which took construction workers approximately a year and a half to complete, opened in January of 2008. The 35 million dollar project was named after the parents of Dunmore, Pennsylvania businessman and former university trustee[2], Louis DeNaples. It was formally dedicated to Patrick and Margaret DeNaples on February 29, 2008. This new student center replaced the Gunster Memorial Student Center, which was demolished shortly after it opened.Image:DeNaples1.jpg
