Patrick Lau

Patrick Lau (Chinese: 劉秀成) SBS, JP (born on 1 June, 1944 in Macau with family root in Dongguan, Guangdong) is an award-winning Hong Kong architect and is currently a representative on the Hong Kong Legislative Council (LegCo) as a member for the Architectural, Surveying and Planning Functional Constituency.

Between 1996 and 2000, he was head of the Department of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong.

Amongst other things, he designs for three international schools in Hong Kong, the French International School, Hong Kong International School and West Island School won awards at the Hong Kong Institute of Architects awards in 1984, 1989, and 1996 respectively.
