Patrick Cronin is a television and film actor, currently working as a professor at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. He received his bachelor of arts degree from La Salle University and his master's in directing from Temple University, where he taught for five years. He is the former holder of The Basler Chair and the first holder of the Permanent Artist in Residence position at East Tennessee State University.

He is currently married to Dr. Amber Kinser Ph.D. (August 2004 - present). Was previously married to Beatrice Colen (1977 - 18 November 1999) (her death) with whom he had 2 children, two sons: James Cronin and Charlie Cronin.
