Patrick Broshnihan was a collegiate hockey player for the Yale University Bulldogs. Listed at 6'4 and 220 lbs., the right winger is known for his physical style of play.
Prior to Yale: Patrick "Broz" Brosnihan was born on August 20, 1986 in Worcester, MA. Before Yale, he was a three sport athlete at Worcester Academy, although he is best known for his on-ice achievements. The two-time Worcester Academy hockey MVP, garnered 19 goals and 44 assists for 63 points during his senior season. He was named to the first-team Division II Prep School All-Star squad for this accomplishment.
At Yale: Patrick Brosnihan's endeavors continued at the collegiate level in 2005, when he earned his first point,an assist, on November 22 against Mercyhurst University. This was his lone point for the 2005-2006 season, although his plus/minus of -13 was tied for sixth on the Bulldog squad. He added 31 penalty minutes, which is indicative of his physical play.
NHL Status: Patrick Brosnihan was selected 212th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes.
