[edit] Music History
Bonfrisco formed his first band, Disturbing the Peace, while in high school with close friends Sean Batz, David Richardson, and Colin Bishop. David Kurutz later joined the band. When Disturbing the Peace disbanded in 1993, Bonfrisco and Kurutz formed Bobwolf with Jeremy Dubish and Matt Oliva. The following year, Bonfrisco joined Jackie Paper with David Mack and Paul Miner. Bobwolf released two demos before releasing "The Vinyl Gift" on Black Coffee Records.
In 1995, while already drumming for Bobwolf and Jackie Paper, Bonfrisco joined a third band, enewetak, when drummer Ben Fall left the band. Soon after, Bobwolf disbanded. Later that year, Jackie Paper recorded and released "Things Like This..." on Bonfrisco's own Ramshackle Records label. The band then when on a hiatus when David Mack moved to Northern California.
Enewetak performed frequently and released six studio recordings throughout the last half of the nineties. When guitarist Jim Greco moved to Florida, the band went on a semi-hiatus, performing or recording about once a year. In 2000, Bonfrisco joined The Touching Game with former Jackie Paper bandmate Mack, and performed and recorded with the band until they broke up the following year.
In 2002, Bonfrisco joined Paul Rivera's Run. Dash. Sprint. project, with former bandmate David Kurutz. Run. Dash. Sprint. recorded and performed until 2004, at which point the band when on hiatus. In 2006, Bonfrisco and Rivera were rumored to have been working together again, but whether it was toward the return of Run. Dash. Sprint. or a brand new project is unknown.
