Patrick Bantamoi (born May 24, 1986 in Koidu Town, Sierra Leone) is a Sierra Leonean professional football goalkeeper who currently plays for FC Inter Turku in the Finnish Premiership (Veikkausliiga).[1]
Bantamoi was first choice goalkeeper for Sierra Leone at 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Finland. He also won Finnish League Cup with KuPS in April 2006 and fortified his place as one of the best goalkeepers in Finnish Veikkausliiga during that year. KuPS was subsequently relegated from Veikkausliiga, which led to Bantamoi transferring to FC Inter Turku in December 2006, with a 2+1 year deal. Bantamoi has adapted very well and is currently fluent in Finnish. He is considered one of the best young goalkeepers in Africa.
