Patricia Ormsby Stoddard is a American quilting teacher, lecturer and book author. She is a leading expert in ralli quilt art, one of the oldest textile arts of Pakistan and India.
Patricia Stoddard has bachelor's and master's degrees in home economics education from Brigham Young University, and a doctorate in family ecology and international fevelopment from Michigan State University. She and her husband were stationed in Pakistan several year ago, and she discovered the ralli quilting art of villager craftswomen. She has written a complete book on ralli quilting, Ralli Quilts: Traditional textiles of Pakistan and India. She lives in Utah.
