Patricia Acompora

Patricia Acompora is a member of the New York State Public Service Commission. A former state assemblywoman from Long Island, she was appointed as a Commissioner of the Public Service Commission in 2005 by Gov. George Pataki. The PSC regulates all telecommunications and utilities in New York. In December 2006, Pataki named Acompora to the PSC Chairmanship. She was replaced in January of 2008 by Garry A. Brown.
